Verify a carrier’s phone number or email
Freight fraud often starts with someone using a real carrier’s name and USDOT number. Enter the USDOT number they gave you and the phone number or email they used; we tell you whether it matches what the company registered with FMCSA.
Check a phone number or email
We compare what you enter with the company’s FMCSA registration. We do not show the registered details and we do not store what you enter.
How to use the result
- Match: the contact detail is on the company’s FMCSA record. Still confirm the load details through that contact.
- No match: call the company back on the phone number shown on its record before sharing load or payment details.
- Recent change: a phone or email change shortly before a new load request is worth a second check.
