What CheckTrucking is

CheckTrucking is an independent website that republishes public data from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by FMCSA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, or any government agency, and it does not file forms or provide registration services.

Information only

Information on this site is provided “as is” for general reference. It may be incomplete or out of date; FMCSA’s licensing data in particular is in transition to a new system. It is not legal, insurance or compliance advice, and it is not a rating, review or recommendation of any company. Before relying on it — for example before tendering a load — verify authority, insurance and identity with FMCSA and with the company directly.

Not a consumer report (FCRA)

CheckTrucking is not a “consumer reporting agency” as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Information on this site is not a consumer report under the FCRA and may not be used for employment, credit, tenant screening, insurance, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA.

Acceptable use

• Do not use automated tools to scrape the site at a rate that disrupts it; search is rate limited.
• Do not use the site to harass or contact companies or people for purposes unrelated to their business.
• Do not represent CheckTrucking as an official source of FMCSA records.
